Cityworks Portland

We are curious about how people work in Portland, Oregon; what that work means; and we just like talking to people. Photographing people at their work or craft, creating images that local entrepreneurs and businesses can use allows us to build our own craft and learn about the world while supporting the work of others. We want to show the practitioners of fading arts like beekeeping, and tanning; the providers of day-to-day services like shoe repair and reupholstery, makers of food, cobblers, car detailers, tattoo artists--people at work in our community, in this changing region.

If you’d be interested in working with us (letting us photograph your work), if our images are successful we might ask you permission to show or publish the images. In exchange. we provide businesses with credited, free, high-resolution electronic images for use on Instagram and Facebook.
