Right now, we have traded handshakes for handwashing ... we get to touch … soap. As a disease-fighting technology, soap is simple—humble … our collective shield and armor. Right now, maybe more than anything else, we share handwashing and soap. If you're willing, please send me a photo of your soap, or washing your hands, and a short paragraph of your experience during the virus.  When this is all over, this will be a reminder of how we were together, alike and not, almost everywhere, repeating this one small gesture, repeated every day, in this together.
